Watts Bar Lake Association’s Annual Shoreline Clean-up

The 2026 “Watts Bar Lake Association’s Annual Shoreline Clean-up” is scheduled for Saturday, March 14th, from 9 am until noon.
Last year, 140 people participated, and we collected over 13,500 pounds of trash, including 80 tires. Please see the attached photos from 2025.
This year, we’re excited to partner with the TN RiverLine Communities of Roane and Meigs County, TVA, and Responsible Stewardship.
As usual, we’re looking for additional participants, team leaders, and folks with boats. Please forward this announcement to friends and family who share our passion for Watts Bar Lake.
On the day of the event, you should plan to arrive at your meet-up location no later than 8:45 am, as we plan to head to the cleanup sites no later than 9 am. If you have a trash grabber, please bring it; otherwise, one will be provided along with trash bags and gloves. Please dress according to the weather and wear sturdy footwear.
